In the village of Ghaen, our fully-integrated CORPORATION specialises in the cultivation of saffron and other botanical species for the nutraceutical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and fragrance industries.

Sativus NV has gained his roots on primarily focusing on the delicacy of the Crocus Sativus flower and Berberis Vulgaris shrub. But we also develop and sourced other efficacious botanical products like black lime and Guava leaves from Nigeria.

Our saffron growers are situated both geologically and geographically in the best area in the province of Khorasan, East Iran. Where the sun offers its most direct heat to the field and plant. Approximately 190 flowers must be harvested to obtain 1g of saffron.

We monitor every stage and physical-chemical parameter: from its production, and packaging to our independent laboratories in accordance with ISO 3632-1:2011 specifications and ISO 3632-2:2010 test methods, in addition, full expertise in quality control according to European regulations and ethical European standards in Iran.

We provide precise traceability since dealing with farmers directly has its benefits.

We are certain that we are one of the few companies that is fully qualified to check Iranian saffron purchased directly from Iran for pesticide residues under European purview of Regulation 396/2005.

Due to Ghaen's ecological conditions, its unique climate and rich soil, South Khorasan province in Eastern Iran is ideal for growing natural saffron. Specially Sargol quality, highest in Crocine and Safranal.

The village is located on the eastern side of Iran’s central desert. That’s why the weather there is harsh and dry, with the perfect altitude for the Crocus Sativus flower. Our manufacturing plant is situated both geologically and geographically in the best area of the province of South Khorasan.
